Zones, and I plugged the phone line to the alarm jack, the telephone line worked to the alarm again! Seems it performed a reset.I set the alarm and triggered it and the same thing happened, telephone line seized but since it could not finish the call because I don't have service now, it was taking over the phone lines again. Wow, an answer right away.thank you so much! I figured out which breaker to shut down and lo and behold, this AM when I turned the breaker back on for those Not sure if the part being very hot is normal or not, but strange smell present? Perhaps the smell is from something else. Should I turn off the power to the whole house? Help! How do I turn off the wired power to prevent a fire? Obviously something is very wrong.
I upplugged the battery now and the plug is still hot and smells. Today I noticed a very odd smell and finally figured out it was coming from where the battery (new - last year) wires plug into the panel.the small brown plug with battery wires coming out of it (1" by 1.2" approx.?) plugs into the green panel on the right inside the box. It also has the above codes showing in the service light mode shown above (title). After the cancel it now causes all the telphone lines to go dead if plugged into the phone jack at box. It was redialing and seizing the phone line after an alarm. My system has been having problems and I cancelled monitoring company last week.
